SynGen, Inc. is a growing company which specializes in both standard and very complex custom oligos. SynGen also manufactures superior-quality DNA/RNA synthesis reagents. Oligo purification kits and gene synthesis services are also offered.

We were founded in 1999 by two members of the team who synthesized the VERY FIRST commercial oligos in 1979!

Both members are still "hands-on" participants in the day-to-day synthesis of custom oligos and reagents, and their expertise is unmatched in the industry.

Through our Oligonucleotide Synthesis Division, we are able to provide high volume service and innovation to those without in-house oligonucleotide synthesis capabilities. Proprietary labeling processes allow for the efficient production of oligonucleotides with all commonly used fluorescent or affinity labels as well as custom synthesis of oligos with customer-requested labels. We also offer a complete line of standard oligonucleotide primers for sequencing, standard PCR, RAPD analysis and STR analysis. Through our relationship with a corporate partner, we are able to offer GMP production of oligonucleotides up to the kilogram scale. Microarray capabilities allow us to provide custom arrays of immobilized oligonucleotides in a variety of standard formats.

Our Fine Chemicals Division offers a product line in excess of 220 items to customers with in-house oligonucleotide synthesis capabilities. These products include standard and modified phosphoramidites for DNA and RNA synthesis, phosphoramidites for the synthesis of 5' modified or labeled oligonucleotides, controlled pore glass (CPG) solid supports, including those for the production of 3' modified or labeled oligonucleotides, ancillary reagents for use in automated oligonucleotide synthesis and a number of key intermediates for the synthesis of these reagents. In house manufacturing and quality control of a majority of these compounds insures that all materials are of the highest quality available.
